Part time Admin-Clerical Customer Service Health Care Nonprofit-Social Services Research

Personal Summary

I'm interested in a part-time role (20-25 hrs/week) in the afternoon or evening. I'd best fit with an online opportunity but can be available in Seattle, with a reasonable commute by bus.

About me:

I'm profiled as Creative, Social, Enterprising. I can use office technology including word processing, excel sheets, and databases. I feel comfortable online using web technology. I can type 66 wpm+. Whatever I have not had experience in I feel confident that I can learn with relative ease.

I have a make it work attitude. I want to offer problem solving for clients. I have an enormous amount of information and a talent for research. I am suited to positions that integrate theoretical knowledge with resources and apply them to improving people's lives. Along with this ideas orientation, I have an interest in administration and leadership. I am jazzed by reaching out to the broader community, networking for partnerships to build community. Another interest is in using events and small groups for hospitality and community building. It's exciting to coordinate all the moving parts of events and meetings. I apply my natural ability for creativity towards administration.

I believe in diversity, equity and inclusion. I love culture.  These are central values for me.  I am bilingual in English and Spanish.  I have traveled in 12 countries and lived in one, Russia. My social work is oriented around diversity,/civil rights, justice, community development. I have substantial work experience with populations affected by racism, colonialism, and immigration. My university degrees and studies have been in Religion, Spanish, Social Work.  I have also a year each in anthropology, business office systems; 2 years in AmeriCorps trainings for leadership studies and community development; 3 years practical experience as a prep cook catering events.  I am a lifelong student; I treat my work as an apprenticeship. Once I take a job it's my mission to develop in the position and study its technical knowledge towards mastery.

I look forward to hearing from you.
