I am currently a freshman at Rutgers University, majoring in business. Although I am undecided, I have a strong interest in leadership and management since I have held multiple leadership positions and managed organizations in the past.
In my sophomore year of high school, I led the Monroe Corps club as President and coordinated with several teachers to generate a focused curriculum for students to improve financial literacy and budgeting skills. I also trained upcoming board members in the fundamentals of running a high school club. In addition, in my senior year of high school, I rose to Vice President of the multicultural club. Being a leader in this organization helped me to realize that I hope to promote diversity in my future workplace as it is something I am truly passionate about.
In my free time, I enjoy working with underprivileged children and I often find myself solo traveling on the weekends. I’m at my best when I am placed in situations which require me to take initiative and spring into action.
